Food Bank Covid-19 Assistance

The Food Bank of Waterloo Region COVID-19 assistance Initiative

ROWAC donated food supplies to the Waterloo Region Food Bank to support local families during the COVID-19 Pandemic. This project was carried out on May 11, 2020.

Donations were collected via fund raising, which was a one-time exercise, and arising depending on the needs, to support community within the region. Members donated money, which was then used to buy groceries and deliver them to the food bank of the Waterloo region to help our local residents in need.
